The most Important Buildings of the New Era

Casa Mila
Casa Mila - La Pedrera
Casa Mila is an apartment building with an aura of fantasy. Corrugated walls seem to move and fireplaces sitcom dancing on the ceiling. "The straight line belongs to men, the curved one to God," Gaudi said. Also known as La Pedrera.

Grand Central
Designed by architects Reed and Stern and Warren & Wetmore, the $ 43 million dollar building Grand Central Terminal in New York had the luxury marble work and a domed ceiling with 2,500 bright stars.

Chrysler Building
The architect William Van Alen built the car with classic ornaments and art deco zigzags. It was the tallest building in the world for a few months.

The Empire State
When it was built, the Empire State Building in New York broke world records for building height. Reaching a height of 381 meters / 1250 feet, rose above the Chrysler Building. Even today, the Empire State Building is negligible, ranking in the top 10 of the building height.

It's amazing what you see can be reflected in a edificacion, whether or not it is old. I find it extremely interesting to know a bit about the history of many buildings importates because usually have a long history and a special meaning by its architect. In many buildings we see reflected the history of many countries, cities, stories of people, and many other things.
